Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Voilo LLC (“Voilo,” “we,” “us”) and apply to the voilo.ai website, the Voilo waitlist, and the Voilo mobile app (together, the “Service”).
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Voilo. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.
3. Use of the Service
- Voilo is for personal, non-commercial language learning.
- Don’t use the Service for anything illegal, harmful, harassing, or abusive.
- Don’t attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape, reverse-engineer, or get around usage limits or security features.
- Don’t use automated tools to access the Service or generate excessive usage.
4. Accounts and Access
- You are responsible for keeping your account and sign-in credentials secure, and for activity under your account.
- Guest passes, invite codes, and early-access links are personal. Sharing them publicly or abusing them may result in revoked access.
- Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access by a particular date.
5. AI-Generated Content
Voilo uses artificial intelligence to hold conversations, give corrections, translate, and suggest vocabulary. AI output can be incomplete or inaccurate. It is provided to support your language learning and is not professional, legal, medical, or other expert advice.
6. Subscriptions and Purchases
Some features may require a paid subscription. Prices, trial terms, and usage limits are shown before you buy. Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are billed by that store, renew automatically unless you cancel, and can be managed or cancelled in your store account settings. Refunds are handled under the store’s policies. Paid plans are subject to fair-use limits designed for regular daily practice.
7. Early Access and Changes
Voilo is in active development. Features may change, be added, or be removed, and during early access we may need to reset certain data while we improve the product. We’ll try to give notice of significant changes.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, logos, and content, belongs to Voilo LLC or its licensors. Voilo™ and the Voilo logo are trademarks of Voilo LLC. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without permission, except as allowed by law.
9. Your Content
You keep ownership of what you submit, such as messages and voice input. You give us a limited license to process your content only as needed to provide and improve the Service, including generating corrections, translations, and learning insights, as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Third-Party Services
Voilo relies on third-party providers, including AI, cloud, analytics, and app store services, listed in our Privacy Policy. Sign-in with Apple or Google and app store purchases are also subject to those companies’ terms.
11. Termination
You may stop using Voilo and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that could harm Voilo, other users, or others.
12. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We don’t promise that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular learning result.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Voilo LLC and its team will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll post the updated version here with a new “Last updated” date, and we’ll notify you of significant changes in the app or by email.
